A blog is a conversational, opinion based website where users can share their ideas and thoughts in an open world wide forum. Others can post comments and interact with these ideas and thereby establishing a unique form of social capital generation.

Blogs are a great way to quickly and easily provide information, comments and analysis to your community or for them to become connected to a wider audience. They are an increasingly popular and familiar web 2.0 social media tool.

Strategically, blogging can offer a personalised way of delivering your organisations message and engaging with your community. Successful blogging is not easy. We will work with you to develop a long term strategy for successful blogging based on your organisation's vision and needs.

A fantastic example of a blogging success story in the not for profit sector is CP (Cerebral Palsy) Blogs. This is a series of four blogs with a common theme: "living with CP". Three are by people directly affected by CP who share their lives, passions and disability, and the fourth is by the Spastic Centre to directly communicate with its consituents.

Visit the CP Blogs website or read our CP Blogs case study for more on how we assisted the Spastic Centre to develop these great sites with Joomla! and some blogging extensions.
